One Day a Week. Six Weeks of Focused Training. 

Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Students attend one full class day each week, including a 1-hour break.

A Clear Path to EFDA Enrollment

Apply online, provide proof of your dental assisting education or experience, and complete your enrollment before class begins.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • MMR vaccination record
  • TDaP vaccination record

What You Need to Apply
Who is Eligible? 
Applicants must either have completed a recognized Dental Assisting program and provide a copy of your completion certificate OR they must have 2 years of verifiable work experience as a dental assistant. 
You can begin your application before every document is ready. Missing items may be uploaded later through your student portal, but all required documents must be submitted before the first class. 
How Enrollment Works
1. Apply Online
Complete the EFDA application and provide your contact, education, and work-history information. 
Submit Eligibility Documents
Upload your Dental Assisting certificate or employer verification of at least 2 years of experience. 
3. Application Review
HDAS reviews your eligibility and required documents before approving enrollment. 
4. Pay Your Deposit
After approval, pay the $500 deposit to reserve your place in the selected cohort. 
5. Confirm Your Class
Receive your class schedule, payment details, and instructions before the program begins.

EFDA classes are held at one of our 2 South Indianapolis training locations. Your assigned location will be confirmed before the program begins.

Located next to Global Smiles Dental, this location includes dedicated space for classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training. 

Southport Administrative & Training Site

7007 US 31 S., Suite C, 

Indianapolis, IN 46227

Located inside of 7 Days Family Dental of Southport, this site serves as the school's administrative office and an additional clinical training location.
